An Airline Dedicated to Dogs!

Yes, you read that right. Bark Air is a new airline specifically designed for dogs! This service will commence from 23rd May, 2024! These luxury Flights for our four-legged passengers will depart from New York to Los Angeles at 4:00 pm EST.

Before we get into more details, Let’s know more about Bark Air. The one behind getting those happy tails in the air. Bark Air, established in 2011, originally known for dog food and products, is introducing this unique air travel experience specifically designed for canines this May.

Bark Air’s priority is providing a stress-free and comfortable travel experience for dogs. What makes it different from traditional airlines? Well, here, they just don’t accommodate the pet, But the VIP is the pet!

In this ultimate canine travel experience, the main guests will receive top-notch treatment, including treats, noise-canceling ear muffs, beverages, and other surprises. The aircraft cabins are configured to be dog-friendly. This will allow the dogs to socialize with each other during the flight and make new friends on their journey.

Initial routes include New York to Los Angeles and New York to London, with more routes to be added in the future.

Bark Air operates as a public charter service using Gulfstream G5 jets. It accommodates only 15 passengers but sells even fewer, with only 10 tickets per flight to ensure ample space. Each dog ticket includes a pass for one human. But of course, you can purchase human passes in need. No size or breed restrictions apply.

A one-way flight from New York to Los Angeles costs $6,000, while a ticket from New York to London costs $8,000.

Quite pricey, we must say! Co-founder and CEO Matt Meeker acknowledged it, too but they anticipate prices will decrease as demand increases.

Additional information about Bark Airlines: Children under 18 are not allowed on the flights.

Wishing all our fabulous four-legged flyers a wonderful journey! May your flight be filled with belly rubs, tasty treats, and the smoothest skies. Have a paw-some time! Safe travels, Doggos!
